A government-issued photo identification is mandated as a requirement for all loan applications. A copy of the photo identification is necessary to verify the identity of the applicant and/or co-applicant. The copy of photo ID must contain personal information, have a clear photograph of the individual , be currently valid, and be easily readable. This identification may be issued by the US government or any foreign government, so long as the ID has yet to expire. Here a examples of types of ID documents that we can accept:
- Passport
- Driver's license
- National or State identity card
- Permanent resident card
- Employment Authorization card
Please note that the examples listed above are not exhaustive and cannot be universally applied.
If you are unable to provide a valid government-issued photo ID, alternative forms of identification can be used for identity verification. However, they must include a clear photograph, be currently valid, and be legible. If the provided ID does not meet our requirements, we may request additional documentation in order to verify your identity.
