If you have a financed vehicle with us and are relocating to a new state, you may have inquiries regarding the process of updating the vehicle's registration and title.
Upon your relocation, we advise you to contact your new state's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to obtain the necessary registrations and tags. The DMV will provide you with instructions regarding the subsequent steps required to issue the new registration, tags, and title. Additionally, you may find the registration requirements on the DMV website for your new state.
In most instances, the DMV will request that a copy of the current title be submitted to them. Once we receive notification, we will verify whether we possess a copy of your title. If we do not, we will need to submit a duplicate title request form to your current DMV to obtain a copy, which will then be forwarded to the DMV of your new state upon request.
The DMV will issue a new title, registration, and tags. You will receive the registration and tags, while the original title will be mailed to us.
Finally, please ensure that you update your address on Happy Mango by navigating to the "My Info" page. If your auto loan is managed by AutoPal, kindly provide us with your new address.
