IRC’s Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO) is a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that specializes in making flexible, affordable consumer and microenterprise loans to borrowers with little access to traditional financing.
One of the eligibility requirements for our microenterprise loan involves participation in credit education and business technical assistance offered by our program partner, the IRC’s Small Business Program. For additional information, please visit the IRC’s Small Business Program website.
It is essential to note that the Small Business Administration (SBA) Microloan Program is exclusively available within San Diego County. Businesses situated in California outside of San Diego County and other States may access the non-SBA funds at the same rate.
If you are interested in obtaining a business loan from us, we invite you to reach out to the program partner via the link provided above. Alternatively, you may inform us of your location, and we will be happy to refer you to a business advisor in your area. This advisor will act as your primary point of contact for any inquiries and assistance related to the application process for our business loan.
The business counselor responsible for providing credit education and business technical assistance will solely assist in guiding and preparing the loan application package. All decisions regarding the approval or denial of a loan application are made by the CEO staff, not the business counselors.
