Congratulations on your loan approval! The loan closing step means your loan application is approved, and you need to take action to complete the loan closing process to activate your loan. To start, you should log into Happy Mango as soon as you receive an email and text notification from Happy Mango. You will have 12 days to complete this part of the process, and once the loan offer expires, you may need to re-apply again.
Here are the steps to accept an offer after logging onto your Happy Mango account. Go to the "Applications" section of the dashboard or go to the "Applications" page from the top right drop-down menu. Click on the "Action Required" text under Status.
If you did not connect your bank account for ACH payment during the loan application, you may be asked to enter your banking account information here. After you confirm your bank account is added to Happy Mango and showing on the "My Financial Accounts" tab, you need to enable the bank account you want to use for making repayment- click on the "Use for Payment" link. Once this is done, you will find this account on the Payment Sources page, and the account is shown as verified for sending payments.
The next step of closing the loan is to sign the borrower's contract with an "E-Signature". Please review the contract details carefully. If there is a co-borrower, the co-borrower will receive an email notification to sign after the primary borrower has completed the signature. The co-borrower will also need to e-sign the document to complete this step. After all the signatures have been submitted, you can download a copy of the signed document from Happy Mango, and a copy will be sent to your email address.
When you are ready to sign the contract, click the "Sign Closing Document" button to open Docusign in a pop-up window. On some browsers, you may need to click "Always Show," like in the screenshot below, to allow the DocuSign platform to open and complete the signature. Alternatively, you can turn off the pop-up blocker (helpful instructions from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) on your internet browser and click the button again to allow the Docusing platform to appear.
Upon completion of the loan signing, we will be prompted to proceed with fund disbursement. Please allow at least one business day for the funds to be disbursed.
