If your state uses the Electronic Lien and Title system (ELT system), the process is automated. We would send the appropriate documents to the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles. Generally, you should get the title from the DMV within three to six weeks, based on the state’s processing times.
If your state does not use the ELT system, we will mail the title to you after your payment is clear and the lien is released. This process can also take three and six weeks.
